Playgrounds Trento
Your guide to playgrounds Trento from Trento: everything you need to know to plan your visit from Hotel Accademia in the historic centre.
Trento has several good-quality playgrounds distributed throughout the city. For families with young children or those wanting an outdoor space to play freely, options are not lacking.
Parco delle Albere
The largest and most modern playground in the city. Located next to the MUSE in the Quartiere delle Albere, it has equipment for children of various ages: slides, swings, sensory paths. The area is spacious, with large lawns for running and a lake for cycling around. Very popular at weekends with neighbourhood families.
Parco dei Tigli
In the San Bartolomeo area, this is a well-maintained neighbourhood park with play equipment for children from two to ten years old. Less known to tourists, it has a quiet atmosphere and is frequented by local children.
Parco Gocciadoro
The largest park in the city overall. Located in the Gocciadoro area, about fifteen minutes on foot from the centre. It has a play area, picnic space, a small lake and forest paths. Popular in the intermediate seasons and in summer during evening hours.
Piazza Venezia garden
Green space near the underground car park, with a simple but functional play area suitable for a short stop with young children while visiting the centre.
Seasonality
Trento’s playgrounds are pleasant from April to October. In summer they come alive in the afternoons and early evenings. In winter, the cold makes outdoor play areas less appealing: the MUSE is the best alternative, offering indoor play areas and workshops throughout the colder months.
