Your guide to parking Trento city centre from Trento: everything you need to know to plan your visit from Hotel Accademia in the historic centre.

Trento’s historic centre is a restricted traffic zone, so arriving by car requires a little planning. The main car parks are at the edges of the old town, a short walk from the main attractions.

Piazza Venezia underground car park

The most convenient underground car park for visiting the centre. Less than five minutes on foot from Piazza del Duomo. Hourly rates with a daily maximum cap. Suitable for stays of several hours.

Via Torre Verde car park

Another central option, with quick pedestrian access to the streets of the historic centre. Useful for short to medium stays.

Largo Nazario Sauro car park

Near the railway station and the western side of the centre. Convenient if arriving from the north along the main road.

MUSE car park

The Quartiere delle Albere car park, managed by the same complex. Useful for those wanting to visit the MUSE and then walk into the historic centre along the riverbank (about fifteen minutes).

Blue zone

In streets around the historic centre there are paid parking areas with a disc or pay-and-display. Short stays — up to two hours — are manageable, but not convenient for longer stays.

ZTL and hotels

The Trento historic centre ZTL is active during certain hours, with camera enforcement at multiple points. Before driving into the centre, check the hours and any exemptions — especially for guests who need to unload luggage at their hotel.
